What is 3D Studio?

3D Studio by MultiProductX is a 3D cake design studio in your browser, made for cake designers, bakeries and pastry chefs. Build the cake, decorate it with sugar flowers, gold, drapes, ruffles, borders, coatings and 3D numbers, then show it to your customer as a picture, a 360° video or a 3D model.

Who is it for?

Professional cake designers, bakeries, pastry shops and home bakers who sell cakes and want to show the customer the cake before baking it — for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, graduations and events.

Can I design pastries, cupcakes, donuts or croissants, not only cakes?

Yes. At the top of the left panel choose what you are making: cake, slice, bar (opera, entremet), mille-feuille, Swiss roll or bûche, cupcake, verrine, donut, croissant or pain au chocolat — one piece or a box of 3 or 6. Show the layers inside, then add fruits, chocolate drizzle, cream, sprinkles, flowers and numbers.

Are there ready-made cake models I can start from?

Yes. 3D Studio has ready-made wedding, birthday, luxe and pastry designs (roses and gold, tuxedo, princess gown, Lambeth wedding, chocolate fingers and berries, macarons, cupcakes, donuts, croissants…). See them all on the models page (/models/): each one opens in the studio with one click, then you change colors, flowers, numbers and names for your customer.

How do I suggest a new model or send a photo?

Press 💡 Ideas at the top of the studio, write your idea and add up to 4 photos (and, if you like, a picture of your current design). Our team reads every message and adds new designs every month.

Can I design ice cream, chocolates or a sponge cake?

Yes. In What are you making? choose Ice cream (cones with scoops, soft serve, cups, bars on a stick, popsicles), Chocolates (rose bonbons, truffles, hearts, chocolate cups in a gift box of 9 or 16) or Sponge cake (a génoise with a slice cut out, or sponge squares). Change the colors, then show your customer a picture or a 360° video.

Do I need to install anything?

No. 3D Studio runs in your web browser on a computer, tablet or phone (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox). Nothing to install.

Is it free?

The trial is free and every tool is open: design, picture preview, 360° video preview and opening 3D files. The trial includes ONE free download — a picture or a video, with the 3D Studio logo on it. After that, downloading pictures, videos and 3D models (without the logo) needs 3D Studio PRO ($80/month).

What does PRO give me?

Download pictures up to 4K (also transparent PNG), 360° videos in MP4 for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp, and 3D models in GLB, USDZ, glTF, OBJ and STL, on up to 3 devices. Monthly, cancel anytime.

How do I write the age or a name in 3D?

In 👑 Luxe → Age, numbers & words: tap the gold keys 0–9 or a ready age (18, 30, 50, 60…) or type Happy Birthday. Choose gold, silver, rose gold or glitter, a Classic, Elegant or Script font, and place it on top, on sticks like a topper, or on the side of a tier.

Can I change a number or a word after adding it?

Yes. Click it on the cake: a card opens where you change the words, the font or the color and press Update. Drag it to move it, use + and − for the size.

Can I move, recolor or delete a decoration I placed?

Yes. Click any flower, bow, drape, ball cluster, number or border to select it. Drag it to move it, change its main and second colors, its finish, its size and angle, copy it or delete it. The cake keeps its own color.

Which sugar flowers are there?

Sugar rose, garden rose, peony, magnolia, tulips, orchid, succulent and blossoms, in any color, in sugar, pearl, velvet or gold finish, with green, sage, gold or silver leaves.

Can I make a tuxedo cake or a cake with a crown?

Yes. 👑 Luxe → Tuxedo dresses the tier you choose with a white shirt, lapels, a bow tie and buttons, in the color of the tier. The gold crown sits on the top tier.

Can I make a two-tone cake?

Yes. Two-tone & patterns: diagonal split with a gold edge, half & half, ombre sparkle, gold vein (kintsugi), gold brush strokes, speckles, pinstripes, quilted, stencil lace, marble, polka dots and combed ridges, with any second color.

Can I show the layers inside the cake?

Yes. Choose a layer preset or build your own sponge, cream, mousse and filling layers, then press Show a cut slice on a round cake. Decorations stop exactly at the cut.

Can I take a picture from a chosen angle, without background?

Yes. 📷 Picture opens a live preview: turn the cake or choose Front, 3/4 or Top, pick 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 or 16:9, a background, your own photo or no background (transparent PNG), the quality up to 4K and your signature.

Can I make a video of my cake?

Yes. 🎬 360° Video records one full turn of the cake in Square, Vertical or Wide format, with your bakery name and your own background. With Follow my moves, you turn the cake yourself and the video records your moves.

Can I open my own 3D file?

Yes. 📂 Open 3D opens GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL, FBX and PLY files. Put the model on top of your cake or look at it alone, then change its color, size and angle. The file never leaves your device.

Which 3D file types can I download?

GLB (Android AR, Windows 3D Viewer, Blender, websites), USDZ (AR on iPhone and iPad), glTF (Unity, Unreal), OBJ + MTL in a zip (3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, SketchUp) and STL in millimetres for 3D printing.

I made a mistake, can I go back?

Yes. Undo (Ctrl+Z) takes back the last step — a flower, a border, cream, a color or a pattern. Redo (Ctrl+Y) puts it back. Reset starts again from a plain cake.

Where is my license key?

In the Gumroad email you received after buying, and in your Gumroad Library. Press ⭐ Go PRO at the top, paste the key and press Activate.

Can I use one key on several devices?

Yes, one key works on up to 3 devices (computer, tablet, phone). Activate the same key on each one.

How do I cancel?

Cancel anytime from your Gumroad account (Library → your membership → Manage membership). PRO stays active until the end of the month you paid for.

Is my design uploaded anywhere?

No. The studio runs in your browser; your designs, pictures, videos and the 3D files you open stay on your own device.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. 3D Studio works on phones and tablets: turn the cake with one finger, zoom with two. A computer or tablet is more comfortable for big designs.
